As a young high school student with aspirations of joining the medical field, I created this website to share the the potential harms of sleep loss with my fellow peers who march through 36 weeks of school with too little REM. During my first few months of high school, I noticed that that my classmates had their head down during class — accruing the many negative effects that follow exhaustion. Sleep2Greatness is a series of podcasts which shares the science behind sleep deprivation as many students all over the world sacrifice sleep in order to get ahead in their academic and leadership pursuits. The goal for Sleep2Greatness is to not only motivate students to become more aware of sleep deprivation, but to also make them more serious about the time they allot for sleep; that will help create a healthier generation.
